An Army veteran and university professor; in 2013, Jackson was honored and recognized by the National Father’s Day Council alongside President Bill Clinton and Terry Lundgren (former Macys CEO), during the National Father of the Year Awards. Jackson is married to the former ShDonna Flournoy of GA and the two raise and direct their five children, "5-Arrows", with intentionality and purpose.
